Join us for a memorable experience at The Valley Hive, a Los Angeles-based beekeeping hub!
- Learn from a beekeeper about the fascinating life of bees and their importance to nature.
- Experience a honey tasting with your gift jars of The Valley Hive’s five signature honeys; savor the distinct color, aroma, and texture.
- Enjoy light bites and refreshments.
- Connect with others who share a passion for sustainability - exchange ideas, build relationships.
- Admire beautiful pollinator plants & more as you stroll past pepper trees at the Topanga Nursery*.

… And if you want extra adventure: Jump into the Full Beekeeping Experience! (space is limited, time of experience approx. 90 minutes, ages 12 and up only)
Put on a bee suit (provided at event) and discover the life of a beekeeper! Whether you are looking to start your own backyard hive or simply curious about honeybees, experience how it feels to be inside an apiary. Process your own honey, then enjoy the fruits of your labor with a sample jar of your work.
What to Wear for Beekeeping Experience:
- Closed shoes; high top or boots, tennis shoes are ok (NO sandals)
- Long Socks are preferred.
- Long pants
- Bring a baseball hat to be worn with the suit. If you have long hair, bring a hair tie to pull hair out of your face.
